The Online Bidder will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through online bidding platforms. This role involves generating leads, preparing compelling proposals, and engaging with potential clients to drive project acquisitions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT services and a proven track record in online bidding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and explore new business opportunities on various online platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, LinkedIn etc.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Prepare and submit high-quality proposals and bids that align with the company’s services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide initial consultation, and negotiate project terms.
- Follow up on submitted proposals to close deals and secure contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, client communications, and project details.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for bid submissions and project acquisitions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Online Bidder or similar role in an IT Services company.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using online bidding platforms.(Upwork).
- Ability to write compelling and customised proposals.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
