We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer with at least 1 year of experience in backend development to join our team. As a MERN Stack Developer (Backend), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. Your role will involve working closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side components of web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code to meet project requirements and performance goals.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in backend development.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in backend development using the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ES6+ syntax.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable server-side applications.
- Solid understanding of MongoDB and database design principles.
- Familiarity with React.js and frontend development concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git for code collaboration and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
