We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Outbound Sales Intern to join our team. The Outbound Sales Intern will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts by conducting outbound sales activities primarily through tools like Apollo and email. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales prospecting, lead generation, and communication skills development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting outbound sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and appointment scheduling
- Utilise sales automation tools like Apollo to streamline lead generation and outreach efforts
- Craft personalised email messages to engage with potential leads, follow up on initial sales inquiries and nurture leads through the sales pipeline
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target companies and assist in tailoring sales pitches accordingly
- Collaborate with the sales team to support outbound sales campaigns and initiatives
- Learn and apply sales techniques and strategies under the guidance of experienced sales professionals
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Support other sales-related tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate over email and phone.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with sales automation tools like Apollo or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management skills.
